The new Ophion Katana slices through the water like a knife, it’s smooth, balanced, powerful and light. We wanted to compliment the already powerful aggressive existing range with something a little less aggressive giving the paddler a smoother more traditional stroke. The unique dihedral ridge on the powerface keeps the paddle stable while it slices through the water on a draw stroke. Due to the new design we managed to reduce the blade length and retain the width giving you a quick loaded power that stays stable. It is this combination of Dihedral and Spine shape that keeps the paddle so balanced.
This new paddle has been designed for the Creeker and Freestyle kayaker who wants to set up and push their lines that little bit tighter and faster. For a light weight, very strong, powerful, smooth paddle choose the new Ophion Katana.

RPF BRILHA NA GALIZA!

Foi no passado fim-de-semana de 30 e 31 de Outubro que se realizou mais uma prova do Campeonato de Kayaksurf e Waveski da Galiza a contar para Taça de Espanha e onde estivemos presentes com uma pequena delegação e com o anuncio oficial do novo rider da RPF Surf Team, o Joaquin Ribas, que equipa com um Diamond e pagaia Ophion, (com representação exclusiva da RPF em Portugal e Espanha). O Joaquim obteve um magnifico 3º lugar na categoria HP, (testou o seu novo Diamond de carbono 30 min antes da prova!) e a vitória na categoria Sit-On-Top.

RPF riders have brought home some good results, from the first Spanish Cup of Kayaksurf & Waveski that occurred in Galicia, more exactly in the Bastiagueiro beach. The surf was changing from small, to very small, and the maneuvers where happening very close to the sand, but even so we manage to get some good results...our riders really trust our kayak construction to make such risky moves!!
Joaquin Rivas has been also introduced as the new RPF Team rider, receiving is new yellow RPF Diamond and also equipping with is new Ophion paddle. In it's first time in water Joaquin has managed to get a 3rd position in the kayaksurf HP category and a victory in the Sit-On-Top competition. João Vaz, with it's 2nd place in the Sit-On-Top category and the places from Eurico and Tiago in HP, are also good indications to the future!!

De realçar também o 2º lugar do pódio do João Vaz, em Sit-on-Top e os excelentes resultados do Tiago, Eurico e restante equipa da RPF.
